Hall of fame

The Trempealeau County Agricultural Society is seeking nominations for three awards created to honor individuals who have contributed outstanding leadership and support to the county fair. The fair has benefited from the selfless dedication of so many people, and it is important that their contributions are not forgotten. These awards can be given to a volunteer, participant or staff member; for assisting the fair in the development or implementation of a concept that dramatically impacted the fair.

The A.A. Arnold - Pioneer Award

Presented to honor those who have made significant contributions to the fair during the period 1858 - 1958 (the first 100 years). Individuals, family members and others are welcome to nominate deserving candidates.

The Hall of Fame Award

Presented to those who have provided outstanding dedication, leadership and/or support of the Trempealeau County Fair for the period 1958 - present and can be awarded to individuals who are living or the families of those deceased.

The Trempealeau County Agricultural Society and the Fair Recognition Selection Committee welcomes nominations and recommendations that the community feel are deserving of induction into the Hall of Fame. Nominations are due either by mail or email no later than July 1st. Additional information is available through the fair board.

The Outstanding Volunteer Award

Presented to people who have and continue to dedicate their time and talents to the Trempealeau County Fair. Recognition includes dedicating a page in the fair book; and a plaque and recognition in the "Hall of Fame" area on the fair grounds. Nominations are welcome but selection will be done by the Ag Society board of directors.

All awards are presented on Wednesday evening, prior to the crowning of the Fairest of the Fair. Award recipients are further recognized by permanently honoring their contributions in the "Hall of Fame" area on the fair grounds.
